Students with SEN (special education needs) have to work much harder academically and socially, while their parents need to spend more time and medical fees on them. A student, who has been under treatment in 4 SENs (ADHD, autism and dyslexia) for 15 years, went through such hardship. But he has a dream: to help those to overcome SENs.
He is Tim, one of our 1100+ beneficiaries, whose perseverance earned him a place to study bio-medical science study in HKU, despite the mountain-moving difficulties he has been facing. With a generous donation, we awarded Tim a full scholarship earlier to fund his education expenses, daily transportation from Kowloon City to HKU, as well as ongoing medical expenses. With Tim's inspiring case, ChickenSoup is rolling out our 8th program to deliver a 3-year professional group-based, non-medical treatment for 60 students, who have been diagnosed with ADHD and autism.

有一位學生，他在15年來一直與四種特殊學習需要搏鬥，分別是專注力不足、過度活躍症、自閉症和讀寫障礙。他有一個夢想，想幫助跟自已一樣的人，跨過SEN的障礙。

在這個鼓舞人心的故事中，心靈雞湯將會推行第八個服務方案，針對特殊學習需要的治療。這會是一個為期三年的計劃，以專業的團隊、非藥物為本的小組治療，幫助六十名懷疑或已確診的學生。
